A Two-Part Ecosystem for Electoral Integrity

This platform is a non-partisan, independent initiative designed to enhance the credibility of elections in Nigeria. It is comprised of two core systems working in tandem: Project Veritas for real-time result transmission, and Project Sentinel for real-time incident reporting.

Project Veritas: Real-time Result Transmission

The primary mission of Project Veritas is to provide every Nigerian citizen with direct, unfiltered, and real-time access to election results as they are declared at each of the 176,974 polling units across the country.

How It Works

  1. Capture at the Source: Accredited Polling Unit officers use a secure mobile application (the "Veritas Officer App") to input vote counts and capture a high-resolution photograph of the official, signed result sheet (Form EC8A).
  2. Secure Transmission: This data packet—including the results, photo, officer's credentials, GPS coordinates, and a timestamp—is encrypted and transmitted to our central server. The app is designed to work offline and syncs automatically when an internet connection becomes available.
  3. Instant & Verifiable Publication: The moment data is received, it is published here. Every citizen can drill down to their specific polling unit to see the digital result side-by-side with the photograph of the physical result sheet, allowing for unparalleled public audit.

Project Sentinel: Real-time Incident Reporting

Recognizing the complexities of election day, Project Sentinel empowers accredited party agents to become frontline observers. Its mission is to create a verifiable, real-time public record of election day incidents, providing credible data for observation, media reporting, and potential legal review.

How It Works

  1. Report from the Field: Using a separate, secure mobile application (the "Sentinel Agent App"), accredited agents can report incidents like violence, intimidation, or vote buying.
  2. Evidentiary Integrity: Each report includes a detailed description, the incident type, and crucial evidence in the form of a photo or a short video. The app automatically embeds the agent's ID, a precise timestamp, and the GPS coordinates of the submission.
  3. Admin Verification: Submitted incidents enter a secure administrative queue. Our team reviews the evidence for credibility before it is made public. This crucial step prevents the system from being used to spread misinformation.
  4. Public Awareness: Verified incidents are displayed on our Live Incident Map, providing a transparent, nationwide view of election day events as they unfold.
